Terms and Conditions

This is a cash practice and is not registered with medical aid; therefore, patients are responsible for full payment. In a divorce case where the ex-spouse is responsible for any treatment, please take responsibility to organize the finances with the ex-spouse before therapeutic intervention commences as it is not the therapist’s responsibility.

 I am aware and take note that the Counsellors & the Therapist are registered and accredited with the Council for Pastoral and Spiritual Counsellors (CPSC) and not the HPCSA.

I also take notice that no report will be given regarding any form of legal aspects. Reports will only be sent to medical practitioners.

Cancellation: I agree to give 24 hours notice if I am unable to attend a session. For sessions booked and paid, cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to the session will be refunded. No refunds are made if a cancellation request is received less than 24 hours before the session. I further agree that I will be charged in full for any session for which I fail to cancel less than 24 hours prior to the session.

I hereby indemnify CGR Counselling Services and / or any of its suppliers / subcontractors / associates / members / employees / etc. against all or any claim which may arise as a consequence of the sessions, unless the damage is directly attributable to the gross negligence or any intentional wrongful act on the part of CGR Counselling Services, and / or any of its suppliers / subcontractors / associates / members / employees / etc. (Subject always to the defences available to CGR Counselling Services by Law, particularly in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, Act 2008 as amended from time to time). 

I also consent and take notice that all sessions may be recorded via a visibly installed camera for reference purposes. CGR Counselling Services undertakes that no information or footage of the recorded sessions shall be disclosed to any third party except in the event of a police investigation involving the persons present during the specific session.
